Record the input content of various software throughout the day to achieve text traceability

Record at what time (can be hourly intervals, i.e., noting the time every hour), in which software, and what content was logged? Save this as a txt or another more suitable file format for future reference?

ActivityWatch will not record text input due to the associated huge security concerns (essentially becoming a keylogger).

You can track how much you've pressed keys or buttons with https://github.com/ActivityWatch/aw-watcher-input, but as it's README states it will never capture which specific key was pressed, which I assume is what you mean.
