Hi,
I am pretty new to AdGH and I installed two instances of it on my Linuxes. So these are server only local requests with an upstream DOH connection to NextDNS.
I am using a minimum TTL of 3600 to settle the upsteam activity a bit, and was astonished to see that some URLs after 24h are still hitting the upstream server several hundreds times a day. Having two AdGH instances these together should not exceed roughly 48 requests, do they? Namely these were:
presence.teams.live.com
teams.events.data.microsoft.com
gateway.icloud.com
and several others.
Having used Pi-holes before dnsmasq was configured with min-cache-ttl=3600 and that was always obeyed by the caching mechanism. Any idea what could be the problem?
Thanks for clarification.
Don
