Having issues with per client

So im having issues with the client id stuff. I can connect just fine with DoH using the /dns-query/client-id however when I try to do clientid.adguard.domain.com I cant connect. Im using the adguard app via android to do this. the reason I'm doing this in the first place is because my IP changes because of LTE and I have setup only certain IPs/Clients can connect. when I enter the clientid.adguard.domain.com into adguard app it wont save which means its not connecting. Does anyone have any ideas to get quic or tls working using the client id?
