DNS rewrite to a DHCP *.lan domain doesn't work

AdGuard version: 0.107.8

DNS rewrite works if I just create a rule like this for a network local device:

my.rewrite.name -> 192.168.1.XX

and it also works if I create the rule:

my.rewrite.name -> www.google.com

But it doesn't work if I create the rule:

my.rewrite.name -> my-laptop.lan

The rewritten domain (www.google.com or my-laptop.lan in my examples) is always resolved upstream, when obviously the second one should be resolved locally.
