Question about SSL

Hi,

I have recently changed to DoH.

My question is do I need the SSL certificate under "Settings > Encryption settings"? Is this just for accessing the web interface for Adguard Home? If I use a Reverse proxy to access it securely can I leave it as expired and DoH lookups will still be secure?
