Adguard Home QueryLog -> Block / Unblock

I'm using Adguard as add-on in Home Assistant.
I understand that in the query log, I can simply block or unblock for a certain entry. There are two possibilities: block/unblock for the specific client (which adds an entry in the custom filtering rules) or "disallow this client" (which I understand as "reject all request from that client") However, what I'm missing is: block/unblock for all clients aka put that in the white list. I am missing something? Do I really have to copy and paste manually into the white list?
And what is the "disallow this client" useful for and why is it connected to the QueryLog?

Ok, as there was no reaction I will answer it myself :)
Lately I noticed, that my desired behaviour to block for all clients is there, I simply didn't notice as I thought I have to select from the drop-down list presented on the UI button. However, you can simply click on the button and that does it, the selection is just an additional feature. Strange UI, never saw it before but of course it makes sense to have such a default behaviour.
