Newspaper apps

I installed Adguard Home on my Synology. With Adguard, I've entered a whole new world. So I'm pretty much a newbie.
Everything works very well. However, there are some apps (especially the newspaper app) that don't work when Adguard is enabled.
Is it possible that individual apps no longer work? Is there any way to get these apps to work without removing them from the Adguard Circle?
