As with many fellow sysadmins, I was disheartened to hear that CSF was being discontinued. At the same time, I’m deeply thankful that Way of the Web chose to release the software as open source. A big thank you to the CSF community for carrying the torch and ensuring this essential tool lives on.

I have a lot of things to do with CSF in terms of new functionality and getting things migrated over to complete support for iptables and nftables, so it'll be a lot of work. But I'll continue to support it for as long as people need it.

I had plans to push some more changes yesterday and today, but I got a new server to handle the back-end and I've been configuring it and getting the setup the way I want.
