For the record, so that this issue will be followed up later.

The "Management & Control: Integrated support for cse within the UI" feature is currently missing from the current release.

Ideally, cse is bundled as part of CSF, and we can access cse within the CSF UI without a seperated cse installation, and controllable via UI_CSE setting.

Steps To Reproduce

• 1. Enable UI_CSE in setting
• 2. CSE is not available anywhere in CSF

I'll take a look. As of current, CSE integration hasn't been edited in the current version of CSF. So I'll have to see if something made it go haywire.

In the new dark theme, I re-designed the dropdown for this when you select CSE/CSF, and it works good in that version. I'll see if I can start porting that code over.

Currently there is no similar alternative to CSE, so if we can have CSF/CSE maintained and updated together, it'd be great!

CSE is very stable, so nothing needs to be changed in term of its functionalities/code, I guess.

We just need to bundle it together with CSF, as part of CSF, like all the other functions included within CSF.

If this can be done, it would be perfect.

Are you proposing that we maintain CSF and CSE as two different applications which both release at the same time in the same tgz, or migrating the source of CSE over to CSF and combine it into a single app.

To be honestly, I didn't even realize there is a setting UI_CSE in CSF, and I didn't even know what it is supposed to work originally. I just discovered this setting when migrating to your version. For all these years, I install both CSF and CSE separately.

But if I can choose, of course it will be much better and easier to combine them into a single app. Single installation and single update.

But of course, it will still be OK to just maintain two different applications which both release at the same time in the same tgz, as long as CSE update function will work as before, in case an update or bug fix is needed.

Because as far as I know, there is no one in the world maintaining it at all now, so anyone still using CSE just disabled the update completely, so no update is possible. It would be great if you can keep CSE alive along with CSF.

Currently in CSF, there are many different pages and functions, e.g. Check Server Security, Check for IPs in RBLs, View lfd Statistics, etc. Those are all like a single-page app, similar to CSE.

If we can just add a button like this for CSE and when click, it will open up CSE, making CSE as part of CSF. It will be the most ideal approach, I guess.

Basically, the exact same CSE, but with CSF header/footer, within CSF.

Alright. I'll go crack open the CSE code and see what all is going to be involved.

I'll work on merging them into a single application and fixing up the integration functionality so that it all works as one app.
