Browser Tools Mcp Connection Issue

The serve was running and found the brower console error,but mcp was not conneting to serve

@lffrom0303 try Cursor Settings->MCP-> Click on "Add new global MCP Server"-> add the following to mcp.json:

Click refresh button until it's green. Open Output panel in Cursor CMD+Shift+P "output". Change dropdown to "Cursor MCP". Check if there's any specific errors in there for browsertools. Also use npx @agentdeskai/browser-tools-server@1.2.0. Open the MCP tab in Devtools and ensure the connection was successful.

I have connections issue as well using brave I see the errors on the console.
My understanding is that the server is in the browser extension?

Same issue here, not working. My development env is in WSL and my chrome is on the windows machine so i wonder if this is causing an issue

same issue, all the output in Cursor shows "fetch is not defiend"

but my situation is, i open multiple projects at one time and each project uses different node version, controlled by nvm.
and i set the default node version to 22

First, locate the cache directory after executing npx @agentdeskai/browser-tools-mcp@latest.
For Windows, it’s at:
C:\Users\vikin\AppData\Local\npm-cache\_npx\662acb47f9505fc3\node_modules\@agentdeskai\browser-tools-mcp\dist

Find the mcp-server.js file in the dist folder.
Modify the line return "127.0.0.1"; in mcp-server.js.
Change it to your IP address: 192.168.120.36.

Then, re-run:
npx @agentdeskai/browser-tools-mcp@latest

This worked for me, running Cursor with a container for development (on a Macbook):

1. Set the mcp.json file's contents:
