cancelLocalInvitation2 crashing

I have a modal popup -
On that, I have a cancel call button -
When tapping on it - the following code is executed - and the app crashes

this.client.cancelLocalInvitationV2(this.localInvitation);

attempt to invoke interface method 'void.io.agora.rtm.localInvitation.setcontent(java.lang.string)' on a null object reference

FYI - the app does not crash when localInvitation is not yet accepted by the callee.
But crashes when I try to cancel localInvitation after callee has accepted the remote invitation.

Basically what I want is -

1. Caller sends a local invitation to the callee
2. Callee accepts the call
3. Caller then tries to end the call through custom UI and cancelLocalInvitationV2
4. Callee should get notification/callback that caller has ended the call.
