Loading content... then crash #81

hi there, just upgraded to the newest version. Once I start beatlist now it says "Loading content..." for quite some time only to then at some point have the whole program just be a light grey block without any menu points. tried it many times, starting with admin rights and so on. also did uninstall beatlist completly, restarted pc and then installed again - same.
before, i only had this grey box behaviour occur when i deleted the cached songs and wanted it to rescan all the songs. had to restart the program couple of times in between to finish. is this something similar maybe? i attached a file of the grey box, maybe the lighter color tells you something? haha
edit: i just tried installing 1.2.2 again and that works just fine. would love to use 1.2.3 though :(
