Is this a leak that affects all string interpolation usages?

This is a big repository for changes in a small commit (https://github.com/Alamofire/Alamofire/pull/1262/files). Is that because the bug does not reproduce unless the surrounding Alamofire code is included?

Or conversely, does this affect all iOS developers who use string interpolation?
