Compatibility with Kotlin 1.3.40

As @jonasbark said here #21 (comment) this plugin should still be updated for compatibility reasons, but it doesn't with Kotlin 1.3.40. Might it be fixed?

I think it should work with 1.3.40 as well based on my latest commits. I'm just not sure the newest version with my fixes was ever published?
