With the recent production release of the Dataset Cart API feature on the Portal, we want to ensure that the projects and samples endpoints provide all necessary fields for filtering and querying resources to enable users to create datasets.

Problem or idea

We'll gather the following information related to the current filtering implementation of the projects and samples endpoints:

• Model attribute
• Attribute type (if property, add its data type)
• Included in seriazlier
• Can filter
• Filter type

Once we gather this information, we'll assess it and compile a list of required changes, any contains, and recommendations.
