Hi, still getting to grips with this integration and despite looking though all the notes / discussions / issues I am still left yearning for some answers. I have even set to dedug mode and tried looks for faults / issues in my setup.
My basic understating is that SAT controla the boiler by setting temperature & modulation levels.
General Tab
Maximum Setpoint
Where would you tent to get this from? From my limited knowledge pretty much the lower the better as far as UFH goes but likewise you need a bit of extra power on the colder days?
minimum_setpoint_adjustment_factor
Struggling to work out what this is relevant to and when to adjust, my minimum is currently set to 0.3 but of what and when will it kick in? I think the minium my boiler can modulate to is 13%.
Presets Tab
Synchronize climates with preset (sleep / away / activity)
Again what does this syncronise to? All the underlying climates / rooms / raditators/ stats?
System Configuration
Synchronize climates with mode
What is this doing? It feels similar to the sync with presets, but puzzled.
Advanced
Maximum Relative Modulation*
This does seem to be controlling the max modulation, but when would you set this to anything except 100%, I assume when you have something like UFH and you know it runs optimally around say 35%? Is there any rule of thumb with this?
Thermostat – In general
What is the reason for SAT to have a thermostat dial if opentherm doesn’t have a stat attached? Is it so that you can modify all the connected stats at the same time from SAT? Essentially just a virtual master stat? What happens if you dont have them all syncing?
How does the thermostat / system work out the need? I can see it stores the set values of each of the rooms in climate.rooms but how does it know what it neds to get the house warm? Ie if you have 10 rooms all at different temps? Will it respect a room climate thats in standby for example and not throw out the calcs?
How do I troubleshoot control and relative syncro problems and what sorts of issues do these tend to be? I seem to have problems when SAT is going into low load control, but what dictates why it is going into low load?? As you can see from the graph the return temp is steady so what would cause the boiler to cycle when the return temp still has a good delta and some of the rooms are still calling for heat?

How do I troubleshoot flame in STUCK_OFF say, what does it mean and is it bad? It tends to do this overnight / when none of the room climates are calling for heat.
Many thanks for your help :-)
