New Sonoff S61s not yet supported

Hi, I recently purchased some new type Sonoff S61s Switches.
Unfortunately they are not yet supported in HA integration.

Ewewlink app UI shows the entities Voltage, Current, Power, Runtime, Consumption and Cost.
Will it be enough to modify devices.py file accordingly?

Device name is S61STPF, latest WiFi switch from Sonoff with Matter featured.

Have added the following code to the devices.py file,
and after restart the integration seems to work.

Please note that the new SONOFF S61s device is not yet supported by eWeLink-Web.
Support announced full support for Feb2026 after Chinese New Year.

I also opened a ticket, because S61s device is only being updated in the App after touching the device details,
but with older SONOFF devices it is still updated, when parameters change. It is also mentioned in older support ticket here, that some older units lost that autimatic update feature. Specifically all my no-name eWeLink switches, which worked smoothly until appox. first week of January 2026.

Unfortunately S61s seems to be totally useless for home automatisation.

I reported to the SONOFF support department, that the App user interface status of the device will only be updated after touching screen. This will not be changed in future. LAN modus will not be useful this way getting static data reply.

We have received a reply from our technicians. S61 device adapots a new data synchronization scheme, where real-time data is only updated when accessing the device details page, which is different from the old products.
This phenomenon meets the product's design expectations. Please don't worry, it is not a quality issue.
