Clarify emacs situation #26
Description
Emacs 28.1 added OSC 8 support to comint-mode, which shell-mode (M-x shell) is derived from. However, term-mode (M-x term and M-x ansi-term) still doesn't support it as of emacs 30.2, and also doesn't correctly ignore unknown OSC codes (the test command prints garbage).
There are packages like eat and vterm that ignore unknown OSC codes, but it doesn't look like either of them supports OSC 8.
