Search interface and drop-down menu for sub-graphs

Describe the feature

I was wondering if it would be possible to enable node(s) search and be able to expand the neighborhood around it.

Use case or motivation

The reason is I am creating very large graphs and displaying all of the graph at once is not always useful. I'd rather start with a handful of nodes or have the option to select some from a categorized list of drop down list. I'd also want the search interface to quickly locate my node in the graph, if possible. Btw, can you also give some info on how big of a graph (max nodes and edges) can it visualize smoothly?
