The list drives crazy with 2 columns and > 60 elements

I think this behavior is caused by this:

Items are sorted into different columns based on the size of the column and can cause unpredictable resizes.

Changing to something more deterministic helps, but will have different consequences (possibly uneven lists depending on how you are calculating the size of your items).

@iesteban @alexpareto - i've had good luck with this lib using the prop removeClippedSubviews

And @Akillis - i would have to say that just because it hasn't been updated in while doesn't mean its no good. That other lib is rife with issues, and uses the deprecated ListView component, whereas this one uses the much more performant VirtualizedList under the hood. Plus this lib is written by a RN core contributor and that makes me sleep better at night :D

@iesteban, this is most likely caused by your image components unmounting as your list gets larger.

VirtualizedList has a prop called windowSize.

When the list exceeds the default windowSize of 21, your images will unmount. Subsequently, the images will appear to shift, or jump, all the way back to the top to replace the unmounted image. I'm not sure what the solution is to this, but if you set disableVirtualization to be true, you'll see that the jumping will cease. However, you will lose the performance and memory optimization provided by VirtualizedList.

Add a custom method getItemLayout, and include the item's padding/margin/borderWidth... in your offset calculation.
This is worked for me.
