Hi @annieappflowy, I would love to work on this feature!

I have experience with Flutter desktop notifications.
Quick technical question before I start:
Do you have a preferred package for this (e.g. local_notifier or flutter_local_notifications)?
Also, should this simply listen to the existing Notification Center stream and forward events to the OS?

Happy to draft a PR once we align on the approach.
