Request for Updated WDA .ipa #1734
-
Hello everyone, I’m currently encountering the same issue mentioned here: appium/appium#20239 Since I don’t have an Apple Developer account, I’m unable to build a fresh WDA.ipa myself. Could someone please upload or update the WDA.ipa on https://devicefarm.org/ios-signing Thank you in advance for your help! |

While the posting of this command is very helpful (solved the same issue aykutalpp was facing regarding appium/appium#20239), it would also be helpful to have the documentation here, under the "Manual Control of Devices for iOS real device", include this command as a more stable solution to build the latest WDA.ipa using your installed xcode version, rather than relying on a static, outdated file that may be incompatible. Worth noting that I attempted to build the updated WDA.ipa file in Xcode by navigating to the project root and running: Then manually zipped the signed file into an .ipa file, loaded it to the farm server as "wda-resign.ipa" and this unfortunately did not work. I spent the day working through issues encountered with this outdated, posted WDA.ipa file. A short blurb stating that the file may be outdated and to prepare/sign a new file, please run: would be icing on the cake. Thank you so much for all you guys do. This thread saved me! |
