Is there a way to block device from device-farm?

Hello,
I would like to ask if there is some way to block the device from device-farm or from Appium server for some time without unplugging the device manually?
One of device-farm features is that it manages the device pool automatically. I would like to restrict test execution on some devices in some special cases.

Provide the UDIDs of the devices. This will only pick those devices.

Thank you for your answer, I know that I can block device by creating a session and providing UDIDs. I was just wondering if there is any way to block the device without creating a session. For example some kind of API call to the device farm to temporarily disable device or set status to busy.
In my use case, I have real devices connected to the farm and from time to time I need to use a device for manual testing and I don't want to accidentally run automated tests during manual testing.

I need to use a device for manual testing So your device farm is integrated with open-stf or similar framework, were you take control of the device from browser?

That would be perfect!
Yes exactly, for manual testing we have access to devices from browser just using different technology no open-stf. We are using scrcpy and Xpra to create a remote session.
