Offline Status

How is the "offline" status used? When I disconnect a device it simply gets removed from the farm, is offline used for simulators and emulators only?

Also, when I disconnect a node farm from the hub, my devices still show on the hub farm (in ready status). Am I missing something in the configuration, or is that how it's supposed to work?

Offline status is not used.

When a device from node is removed the hub should reflect the same. Please share full logs of node and hub

@outi5 I don't see device removed logs in node logs.

@saikrishna321, in this example I just disconnected the node entirely to show that it was not reflected on the Hub. I can grab a log that has the devices being disconnected on the Node side as well. I'll upload those shortly.

Hey @outi5 sorry, i'm lost now. Can you tell me what is the issue from the logs you shared recently.

@saikrishna321, these logs show a situation where

1. I started a HUB with 4 devices
2. I connected a Node with 2 more devices
   • All 6 devices showed on the Hub as expected
3. I disconnected the Node (i.e., terminated the connection to the Hub)
   • The 2 Node managed devices still showed on the Hub (with active status)
4. I then reconnected the Node (with the same 2 devices) to the Hub
   • You can see the reconnection of the Node devices in the Hub logs, but the Hub never reflects that the Node devices were removed.

Not sure if that's helpful, I fear I'm making it more confusing than I should. My apologies for not explaining more clearly. Thank you for your patience.
