Question: Is it possible to LAUNCH PDftron in darkmode?

At the moment I change the theme after the Webviewer instance is running.
I wonder if it is possible to define the theme in the Webviewer constructor, so that no theme "change" is visible, but immediealty starts in the right theme (e.g. dark instead of light theme)

Hi @exotexot,

We currently don't have a constructor option to instantiate WebViewer in darkmode - if you are forking this UI then you can just change the initial value of activeTheme in the redux store.

I will add this as a feature request in our backlog.

In case someone else runs across this, you can dynamically choose to include a custom css file which is just a copy of the dark mode overrides, on launch. After the WebViewer is loaded, you can do something like 'UI.setTheme('dark');' to then update the instance so it knows it's in dark mode.

Would love to see an initialTheme support though. :_)

Thanks for providing that workaround @cepm-nate. I'll prioritize this task so a theme property can be passed to the WV constructor. I'll let you know which release will have this as soon as it is scheduled.
