📢 Adopting Conventional Commits

Going forward, my recommendation is standardizing our commit messages using the Conventional Commits v1.0.0 specification. This is a guideline rather than a strict requirement, but following it will make the history clearer among other benefits.

Format:

<type>[optional scope]: <description>

[optional body]

[optional footer(s)]

Common types:

feat -> new feature

fix -> bug fix

docs -> documentation changes

refactor -> code refactoring

test -> adding/updating tests

chore -> maintenance tasks

Examples:

feat(minimax): implement alpha-beta pruning

fix(bot): correct move validation logic

docs: update README with setup instructions
