Tomobar randomly crashing

Tomobar sometimes randomly crashes. I've noticed this happening both when i close my macbook lid and then open it up again, and while its running (I believe when time runs out). This has happened fairly consitently for a few days. Are there logs anywhere where I can provide more detail?

What version of macos are you using? Tahoe 26?

Yea, I'm using Tahoe 26.1, and TomoBar 4.1.0

It's worth mentioning that the crashing is only occasional, and it sometimes just works fine (i've been using it for 45 minutes now with no issues).

Tomo bar crashed again, but nothing showed up in crash reports. However the general logs look like this:

What's happening

Your app is being terminated by CacheDelete — a macOS system service that frees up disk space when it's running low. The key evidence from your logs:

The termination code 0xBADDD15C ("Bad Disk") confirms this is CacheDelete.

Why TomoBar specifically?

TomoBar is a menu bar app with LSUIElement = YES, which means it has no Dock icon. macOS considers such apps "invisible to the user" and targets them first when CacheDelete needs to free resources.

The NotVisible status makes TomoBar a prime target for termination.

Question

How much free disk space do you typically have? CacheDelete usually activates when disk space is low. If you're frequently running low on disk space, this termination will keep happening.

Unfortunately, there's no reliable way for an app to prevent CacheDelete termination — it bypasses all standard protection mechanisms like ProcessInfo.beginActivity().
