Quitting a group as last admin

When i use the signal-cli api to create a group, it seems i can't leave it again. (I am using the jsonRpc)

The passed json:

Do i have to properly pass the delete flag to it? If yes, how would i pass it in json?
I can't quite believe that i have to specify a new admin, because that would mean it is impossible to delete a group at all, since the last user could not name a new admin. So i think i am doing something wrong. Any help is apreciated!

Actually @newhinton , are you sure the group is empty?
There's a check in the code, that the last admin can leave the group if there are no other members: https://github.com/AsamK/signal-cli/blob/master/lib/src/main/java/org/asamk/signal/manager/helper/GroupHelper.java#L854

You can check with the listGroup command:

You are right, the group is not empty.

However, i don't seem able to set a new admin:

Using the "admin" parameter does not work.
Since the documentation doesn't mention it, i did not expect this to work.

But, it seems updateGroup also does not allow the admin parameter:

I tried using both admin as a string-value, and as a list of strings.

I can see the name of the group change, but i am not beeing made the user. This does not work for newly created groups or existing groups. Am i passing this wrong?

Ah, i tested it with a different group after my primary account left, it also did not work, same error.

It's a bug that will be fixed in the next release: #1969

Ahh thank you. I will test this version again and report back if i can delete groups then.
