enhancement: editor attributes with combobox (#2747)

- Updates, simplifies and modernizes attribute selection by populating a single combobox with them.
- Solves Obsolete hint: switch statement implemented as a parameterized CreateAttribute()
- Relocates and resizes attribute controls to new logic
