Apply next expected theme on shutdown, or set theme early during bootup

Describe the enhancement or feature you'd like
I'd like to have a feature that automatically applies the next expected theme when shutting down my PC. It would work something like this:

• I set a time window in which a shutdown should trigger a theme switch, e.g. between 22:00 and 00:00.
• I use my PC during the day, and it switches to dark mode automatically at some point.
• I shut my pc down between the hours I set, and ADM sets the theme to light mode, just before quitting. This should only change a registry setting or something along those lines without actually changing the GUI, preventing a flash-bang effect upon shutdown.
• The next morning, I start my PC and am immediately greeted with the light theme, rather than booting into dark mode and having to wait for ADM to start and apply the theme correctly.
• The opposite may also be done based on settings.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I use the auto-switching as currently implemented. This works but is not ideal, because I need to wait for the switch to occur. Ideally, the theme would already be set correctly on boot by Windows itself, but M$ apparently does not really care enough to implement themes in a way where the OS is aware of it during boot.

Hi. Thanks for this idea. I think it means ADM (or the user) assumes that the pc will be shut-down and started at the intended times. This can obviously have exceptions.

Not sure if it's that simple. I think a change in the right place (the Registry) will always trigger a theme change. But maybe my colleagues know more.

Assuming the following setting is unchecked, the theme should apply quickly. But again, @Spiritreader and @Armin2208 should know better how this works.

This is a good idea, but unfortunately I don't think it's possible.

When hitting the shutdown button, ADM would need to prevent Windows from closing the Desktop, as theme switches are only applied as long as the desktop is stil loaded.

So the only way to make this work was if you used Auto Dark Mode itself to shut down the device. I'll keep this open for now though, because this may change in the future if MS improves theme switching as a whole.
