Task

Provide a runnable demo showcasing the integration of AutoMQ Table Topics with an Iceberg REST Catalog.

Background

Iceberg is a popular open table format, and its REST Catalog provides a standardized way to manage table metadata. This demo will show how AutoMQ can act as a streaming source for an Iceberg-based data lakehouse architecture.

Acceptance Criteria

• A docker-compose setup is provided, including an Iceberg REST Catalog service and AutoMQ.
• The demo shows how a table topic in AutoMQ can be exposed as a table through the Iceberg REST Catalog.
• A query engine (e.g., Spark or Flink) is used to query the table via the REST catalog to demonstrate the integration.
• The table-topic-solutions/iceberg-rest-catalog-integration/README.md is updated with a clear explanation and step-by-step instructions to run the demo.
