Continuous parameters

This is the idea that a parameter can go beyond its min or max. When users drag past the bounds of the parameter, the indicator on the arc should wrap around to the other side of the arc.

I don't think this should go on all nodes. It should be an option for users who understand what's going on. The option should probably be per-node.

This requires a bit of UI change. Somehow, visually, the user needs to know whether the value is above or below the max or min. Or, the idea of max/min for a continuous node can be removed. Either way, there must be a visual cue that indicates that a node is continuous, and not bounded.

I think that this is important to do. It makes sense for something like a gain node, where it might be used to limit the sound with values from 0 to 1, or it might be used to amplify the value by a hundred or a few thousand in order to get connections to parameters to be at the right signal strength.

If you want to modulate an oscillator's detune by a half step up and down, you need the gain to go up to 100, to match 100 cents (one half step).

Just read this: "The nominal maxValue is 1, but higher values are allowed (no exception thrown)." So does a gain work properly with a gain of 2?

As far as I know, yes. I'm pretty sure all the signals are floating point, so it should work fine. How else would modulate things?
