It sounds like the API service failed to start. Perhaps failed to connect to the ldap connection?

Hi there my apologize for the delay and thank you so much for the prompt replies! I wanted to give you a well thought out and detailed response.

I have full access to the Ubuntu 16.04 server hosting the application. I didn't have any luck finding interesting logs to pull for troubleshooting but if there is something I can pull to aid please let me know.

It is quite possible that I've failed to configure the .env file correctly.

I'm able to connect and search via python command line and ldap3 without the use of a certificate. Perhaps I there is a location where I should be inputting a username and password for authentication?

Hi! It seems like you have configured the LDAP connection correctly. Especially if you have tested it already with ldap3.

You can find the logs by running

$ docker-compose logs

Or if you want logs from a specific service, for example for api.

$ docker-compose logs api
