I can't edit religions

When I try to edit the religions, i can change the religion in the area, but when I exit the edit function it still thinks I'm editing so I can't save or interact with anything on the map. Plz help

The religion data is not correct for some reason. You can try to regenerate it in Tools, it should reset the data.
