HOw can i deploy separately for test and dev

Minimal steps to reproduce

In this scenario, I would like to deploy two instances separately, one for testing and one for development. What are the steps i need to take.

It depends how much you want to share between the two environments. One approach is to create multiple azd environments, using azd env new, which would create a whole new set of resources. That flow is:

New environment:

azd env new

List all environments:

azd env list

Switch environments:

azd env select env-name

If you wanted to have a mostly new environment with some reused resources (like the search service) you could follow the README instructions to reuse existing resources before running azd up on the new environment.

To deploy separate dev/test instances, create multiple azd environments: use azd env new to create, azd env list to view, azd env select to switch, then azd up to deploy.
