How is pdf is inserted in the Citation tab?

How pdf is inserted in the Citation tab? Are u using some library for that or how?

I am also interested in whether it is possible that when the citation tab is opened, to underline the sentences from which the answer is extracted? How to implement it?

Thanks for the question! In the Citation tab, PDFs are fetched from the backend /content route, the frontend creates a Blob URL, and the file is shown in an iframe (the #page=N anchor is preserved). There’s no PDF.js involved. If you want to see the specifics, check app/frontend/src/components/AnalysisPanel/AnalysisPanel.tsx and app/backend/app.py; docs/architecture.md also mentions the citation display.

If you were looking for sentence-level highlighting inside the PDF, that isn’t implemented today. If that’s important for your scenario, please open a new feature request with details on the expected behavior.
