However, we haven't merged due to the various issues with it, some of which are discussed in that thread. I did enable it in the playwrightdata branch but had to add workarounds in that branch to make it work.

There’s now a GitHub Actions workflow at .github/workflows/azure-dev.yml that provisions and deploys the app via azd using OIDC, which covers this request, so I’m going to close this out.
