az cli commands haaaaaang

Describe the bug

As of late, all az cli commands I issue from either the native PowerShell terminal or the integrated VS Code terminal hang...for like 5 mins before executing.

Errors

The command is taken, but hangs for minutes before executing/completing.

Expected behavior

That az cli commands execute similar to the time it takes other CLI commands.

2.51.0 is not the latest Azure CLI(2.54.0).

If you haven't already attempted to do so, please upgrade to the latest Azure CLI version by following https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cli/azure/update-azure-cli.

2.51.0 is not the latest Azure CLI(2.54.0).

I just upgraded, then closed and reopened my VS Code terminal...az --version still hangs for minutes before executing.

Feedback: The az upgrade log is contradicting. Is says Succeeded and CLI upgrade failed or aborted. Which is it?

Looks like the az upgrade command installs the 32bit AZ CLI?

Now when I run an az cli, I get a cryptography error...kind of a cluster...

The az upgrade command in version 2.51.0 contains a bug. Please uninstalls the 32 bit and install 2.54 x64 manually.

Is the execution time in PowerShell normal, how about this command az version?
