Install of az: "no configuration file provided: not found"

Describe the bug

I just installed the CLI on my macOS through brew, and the installed worked, but when I tried to use it, I get this error: "no configuration file provided: not found"

I can't repro.
The error message doesn't seem to be from azure-cli.

Yeah I was afraid of that, not sure how to find out what could be causing it though
