i'm able to install the Aks in my windows laptop but i'm getting the below error while updating the upgrading the aks-preview

PS C:\Users\231252909> az extension update --name aks-preview

An error occurred. Pip failed with status code 3221225477. Use --debug for more information.
Failed to update. Rolled aks-preview back to 0.5.151.

Thanks for reporting the issue @gayathriboyapati. Does uninstalling aks preview and then trying to install the new version work?

az extension remove --name aks-preview
az extension add --name aks-preview

That'll help determine if it's an issue with the new version conflicting with your environment, or if it's an issue with the update command itself.

Hi @gayathriboyapati, I'm sorry you're getting this error. My best guess is that it's an issue with the access control settings on the cluster or network settings (i.e. firewall or private DNS zones if you have those set up).

Since it's not an issue with the az aks cli specifically, I'm unfortunately not an expert here. I recommend filing this issue in the general AKS GitHub: https://github.com/Azure/AKS/issues.
