Microsoft.FileShares simplify the deployment experience by taking away the step of storage account deployment, and make file share it's top level tracked resource. We will launch public preview in late August of 2025, and aim to have GA by Q1 of 2026. Minimum API version required. What is the minimum API version of your service required to implement your feature?
Currently, we are using 2025-06-01 API version for public preview. There will be more version coming up for GA.
Swagger link. Provide a link to the location of your feature(s) in the REST API specs repo. If your feature(s) has corresponding commit or pull request in the REST API specs repo, provide them. This should be on the master branch of the REST API specs repo.

Target at Q1 of 2026, Set as March 30th for now.

Currently in private preview, and soon will be in public preview.
Examples of the feature. Usually REST API specs repo should contain examples. An independent documentation or tutorial is also OK.
Prerequisite to use this feature. Whitelisting subscription? Registering the feature for subscription? Is it available in public Azure?
When the feature is in public preview, you may use the feature through Azure portal, simply type file share.
