Supported OS images for VMSS automatic OS image upgrade #71
Description
The Service Fabric 7.2 Fifth Refresh Release Notes mentions that support for Windows Server 1809 will be discontinued in future Service Fabric releases. The WindowsServer SKUs '2019-Datacenter*' are 1809.
This will make WindowsServer SKU 'Datacenter-Core-1903-with-Containers-smalldisk' the only remaining option when using Service Fabric with VMSS automatic OS image upgrades. There is no full Windows Server 2019 alternative.
Since it has been quite a while since any images were added to the list, I have a couple of questions:
- Is the list of supported OS images up to date?
- Is it possible to retrieve the most recent list via any of the azure tools like az cli, powershell or the rest api?
- When will recent WindowsServer images be added?
