refactor to use new ad_creator() and SpecWriterCallback2 from apstools

A new factory method for creating area detector objects, ad_creator(), is being added to apstools v1.7.0. Once that is released, which also includes the new SpecWriterCallback2 callback, refactor to use both of this new support.
