I found a question on Stackoverflow that refers to having exclusive access to an input device. Is this something that has been considered? |

I am curious about what can be done to capture the input while there is an active client connection so that pressing a combination like Ctrl+C, for example, doesn't kill a program on the host.
I looked for programs that would swallow all the input until a certain key combination is pressed, but I could not find anything. However, while I was trying to get DeskFlow to work on a Raspberry Pi 3B+, I encountered an error saying that a certain Input Capture interface was missing. Apparently it is a relatively new API from XDG portals that only KDE and Gnome seem to officially support at the moment. Is that something rpi-kvm may be able to use when its made available for PIXEL (Raspberry OS desktop environment)?
