I have 2 projects, but only 1 gets computer time (unless I manually manage the queue)

I run two projects in BOINC: Einstein@Home and World Community Grid. If they are both allowed to get new tasks, Einstein@Home will take over all the slots in my queue (usually about 7 tasks) and WCG will never get any. If I choose "No new tasks" for Einstein@Home, then WGC will fill my queue with "Mapping Cancer Markers" tasks. So if I want to have each project getting some time on my Mac, I have to manage it manually by turning off/on the "No new tasks" option for Einstein@Home.

Is there any other way to make sure that multiple projects actually share time on my Mac?

@duanewilliams, what's your project share (it can be seen on the Projects tab in the BOINC Manager)?

I do not see anything about the project share in the Projects tab.

Resource share is the correct one. And you have it set correct.
Then you technically don't need to do anything else, since the BOINC client will try to balance everything by itself

So why would one project always hog all the computing? When I first noticed the Einstein project getting all the task slots, I thought maybe there just weren't any tasks available from WCG. But when I set the Einstein project to get "No new tasks" the task queue was quickly filled up by tasks from WCG. So there seems to be plenty of work available from both projects.

In the BOINC Manager, go to the 'Options' -> 'Event log options', enable 'work_fetch_debug' checkbox, click on the 'Save' button. Then go to the the 'Tools' -> 'Event log', and real the logs, where it will be said why the BOINC client requests tasks from one or from another project.

Resource shares are long-term.
The client might run a set of jobs from project A
(e.g. because they have an early deadline).
When these are done, it will compensate by running jobs from project B
