[Linux] Client suspends due to running on battery even though a battery is not present

Describe the bug

I'm testing BOINC on a laptop that does not have a battery installed. When I installed BOINC the local setting was set to suspend when on battery. Surprisingly, the tasks suspended. I was able to get the tasks to crunch by either turning off the suspend when on battery option, or having BOINC run always.

Steps to reproduce

1. Change local preferences to "suspend when on battery", save preferences.
2. Should observe that tasks are "suspended - on battery"

Expected behavior

Tasks should be able to run when there isn't a battery present, just like a desktop computer.

• BOINC: 8.2.5

Additional context

The laptop I'm running these OSes on is an old Dell Inspirion. Its probably ready for the e-waste bin soon, but even still, I don't think something is that wrong with the computer for this to be an isolated incident.

When I run acpi -b, nothing populates from the terminal. upower only includes "line_power_ADP0", my bluetooth mouse, and "DisplayDevice". I assume this means that there isn't a battery present.

Oops, I didn't mean to create the issue right away. I do have some more information to include about how I checked the battery status, but I'm not in front of that computer right now. I'll revise this when I have more information.
