Black Codex Imperial Guard

Once you're done with other more important things like Squats, please could you add Black Codex guard? They have certain unique things - mainly vehicles, assault squads, penal legion - that the standalone Codex doesn't. Thanks and well done for doing all the rest of it!

I can take a look at those - are there unique units from that guard list that are not in the main codex? I do see Penal squad already
I don't particularly want to add rules that got overwritten in the codex . But maybe I could just add a note to black codex unit options so people know

Thanks! My friends and I are super impressed with your quick updates. Black Codex Guard probably deserves to be a separate list to be honest. It works differently. But there's some models you can only run with it, and it's not balanced to put those into the main Codex, which was designed not to include them. In terms of superseded rules, Andy Chambers has actually said that he intended them both to be valid, just... separately. Here's all the things that are in Black Codex Guard List that are not in the subsequent codex: - Tech Priests - Veterans & Veteran Sergeants (WS/BS4) - One-man heavy weapons (only way to use rogue trader models) - Assault squad (only way to run chainsword guardsmen) - Penal squads - Support weapon servitors - Land Raiders - Land Speeders - Predators - Rhinos - Bikes

I'd second this - it's a very different army to the Codex version. The Codex Army Lists version basically allows the player to field an Imperial Guard army from the first edition of the game.

I’d like to “third” this request. It’s a very different to the codex guard list. It’s basically the RT guard list but great for creating “other” human armies (Necromunda gangs / PDF forces/ Navy boarding parties etc etc)

Would be a great list to play about with.

It also includes penal legion which is great to ally in to imperial armies as expendable meat shields!
