Chord Diagram visualization is not interactive (or does not load correctly)

The 'Chord Diagram' visualization does not appear to change based on any of the controls. It is possible this is just because the machine I'm on can't render it effectively. I remember seeing an interactive chord diagram at some point in the past, so I'm tempted to say it's either my machine or my install of the Topical Guide that's the problem.

This is on the dev branch, cloned from https://github.com/cojoco/topicalguide/tree/dev .

I realized that the text below the image was changing as I clicked on different gray boxes along the edge of the diagram. It appears to be just the image itself that isn't changing, perhaps because it has so many different lines in it.
