Regarding more spam servers

It's very strange that I'm trying to find public servers with games but have seen the list flooded with different names, seemingly different players in the preview, but with them all leading to the same server as soon as I join a game. The welcome message has ads plastered all over, and even weirder is how "Fast Path Community" is the server name upon joining, which I was on before, but didn't seem to be spamming everywhere. Maybe I just didn't notice these spam servers but I haven't been able to find the legit ones I was playing on earlier...

How do they get around to doing this? Is there any interest in some sort of server "whitelist"? Whenever I go to something like Game Tracker for servers I can't join those servers in-game as they seem offline. It's starting to make me feel crazy and as if my game installation is somehow modified, but that's not possible, right?

Fast Path is an offender... They like along with many others are sending faked data to the master server to put tens of thousands of fake servers on the list.

adding servers to you favorites list is a good idea.
gametracker should work
play-css.com is another

This problem has been around since goldsrc and affects the current cs2.

It in not likely your files are modified but, you could check the cfg config files.
