How to create the interface?

Hi, I have created interface as described on Vlud github, so pin 3 and 8. It does work with vlud NAC edit thingy, but not with pyPsaDiag - i just get "timeout".

Do I need to do something else?

What is the problem:

• Still getting timeout, trying to connect to sketch?

Could you tell me:

• Which sketch are you using? I assume you use the current sketch arduino-psa-diag from vlud
• Could you give to log? Just copy paste the commands that are send up until the problem.

Sorry for not answering, I need to make better cable as I was just using dupont wires stuck into obd2 port pins, which is quite uncomfortable for any testing.

I hope I will get new obd2 with all the wires this week So i can cut it and crate better interface.

I think it is all my fault with very basic stuff, I did not wrote what car I'm trying this on and it is Grandland X 2021 and I'm afraid it is still on GM GDS2 system. So it does have NAC, but other system are still connecting in GDS2 way.

I really think it is just that this revision of grandland X is GDS2 and not DIAGBOX, so the issue is fully on my side

So I asked Lie generator (chatgpt) as I also have 2022 crossland that is 100% GM system and vin starts with W0V7 and grandland starts with W0VZ4. So lie generator generated, that if vin starts with W0VZ4 it is PSA platform base. But I think it just generated lies as usual.
Especially since the other lie generator (copilot) generated, that both cars are PSA based.

But it got me thinking that there might indeed be a way to find out if it is gm or psa based from the vin.

My next step will be finding where I did put lexia and try some diagbox that floats around on the internet as stellantis is not able to verify my registration so I cannot pay them to use it :) I do not think i have any GM compatible VCI.
